Euro Truck Simulator 2 worthy of purchase

Impressed, without a doubt the most complete and well rounded truck sim.

Played countless truck sims since 2000 and this goes a long way to sorting my gripes with all of them, I usually only end up putting 10 or so hours into each because they become frustrating, this seems different, and I think the radio goes a long way to help.

What are the good/bad points that most have so far, I am compiling a list...

GOOD
Internet Radio
Addictive Gameplay
Good Graphics

Bad
Not realistic enough for some
Controls quite difficult(unless you have help from the boys on here)
Sat Nav
Not being able to go off course and Sat Nav re-routing

Any others I can't think of guys.....?

It's got to be the realistic thing mostly the maps, But I don't think we will see that anytime soon, It would take a massive amount of work to map out just one city but I guess they could have done the main ring and trunk roads better, I just used keyboard and it was fine and fairly easy. Doesn't the nav re-route? I thought it did but then I'm guessing it just shows you to turn back the way you came?

Sometimes it re-routes. Due to the design of the world though you won't be re-routed until it's actually quicker to go a different way. If you miss a junction on the motorway then it's still quicker to drive all the way to the next and turn around before re-routing. This is down to the un-realistic maps though, something which can't really be changed without making the road the real-length meaning you'd literally be driving for hours and hours.

Am I missing something here? It's set to fastest route then, The above is what real world sat navs do.

Is there a free look option? So you can look round your rig while in a stationary position.
Oh and have you noticed there's no motorbikes on the roads?

Yeah you can free look inside and outside even when moving you can pan the camera outside, in fact it has quite a few view modes as well. Unless you mean something else
