Euro Truck Simulator 2 worthy of purchase

Where do you find the limiter mod? Is it more realistic without as you can go out of control on downhill sections and need to brake more?
 
This game still needs a mini van or small truck so you can nip about on these roads in Italy and Switzerland, a big heavy truck is not doing it for me when I am trying to weave in and out of traffic!

I think it's more realistic with the limiter on because you can go nearly 80mph with it off and how often do you see a truck going 80?

Well i'm sure they could if they drove badly downhill? I'm not likely to go that fast but the fact you could if you didn't brake properly might be good?

That might be because they have a limiter :p Or are not allowed to.

Whats the powerful engine in the game?
 
Jeez, guess what dippy here did not do? Well I had to reinstall the game after I updated to win 8 (game is on different drive and would not work without a fresh install) After I reinstalled the game I forgot all about the latest patch. Installed the patch and now all mods work on my win 8. What a moron

I'll do it later. Which end is the top? I don't want to try and drive up it with a trailer! I've not got a 750bhp truck like a lot of people!
 
My 510HP DAF doesn't kill me half as much as my 750HP Volvo! Stops better too. Squirreling away for a V8 MAN :o

Here's hoping the Millau Viaduct will appear in an expansion, driving down to Spain...
 
Aw man my demo ended.

I'm not sure whether to buy yet. If buying the code from SCS was as cheap as buying from Amazon i'd probably have done it on impulse...
