Put a few hours into this last night and loved every minute. Now in debt to the bank for 500k but have three trucks on the road. Don't know if it was a wise decision, one of my drivers is costing more per mile than she actually earns!
As your drivers stats improve they will earn more money but it takes awhile, I now have 6 garages and 30 trucks, I borrow from the bank all of the time but am now getting to a stage where my drivers are starting to pull in some decent dosh, so i should be able to dispense with the banks services completely.

The bank is only to get you going tbh, Once you start clearing 500K per day its no longer relevant.
Currently I have 14 garages, a Mixture of big and small and 54 drivers
Clearing 827K per day profit wise giving me about 5.2 Million per week, It should go up once my bottom end drivers get their stats up hehe

It's slow going but seriously good fun. Drivers have started to level up and my bank balance is creeping up bit by bit. I had quite a lot of fun trying to pull a heavy load up from a quarry last night, the truck struggled like crazy at any sort of incline, stalled quite a few times. Need more power!

The road sign might be in kph when you're doing mph?
You can change your speedo in settings iirc.
The speed limit may be 60 mph for cars, however, the limit for trucks on A roads is 40 mph.

I have 2 loans, 100k and 400k, I have had 3 drivers (including me) for ages now. Am I supposed to pay 100k loan back so I can perhaps get another bigger loan so I can expand or do I have to grind money and then expand once I have enough for truck and garage expansion? How do you if at all get more than 2 loans? I'm lvl 7 and have £85k saved up atm.

The speed limits always work by what's shown on the sign i'm pretty sure.

I ended up having a 400k, 100k and 100k loan out, then grinded money to get more trucks + drivers now i'm left with just part of the 400k to pay back (i probably could now if i wanted..)

The 100k loans work out nasty expensive. Best to use them as a short term bridging loan and pay them off quick. The 400k ones aint so bad. I've got enough rolling in now that I'm working on paying them back. Then I'll start upgrading my guys trucks. They don't seem to complain much about hauling diggers with a basic 310hp Iveco...
I see, Real life limits are, A Roads 40. Dual Carriageway 50. Motorway 60. Limiters are normally set to 56 to avoid speeding downhill.
I have recently retired from trucking and will get into this game in the new year. I would prefer real life limits, distances and tachograph rules.
I would probably pay the 100k loan off as soon as poss to save on the daily payments, once paid off it's there should you need it again, the most important thing is to get yourself and your drivers trained up.
For example if you have a driver at level 2 in eco driving (or any of the others) then keep him training on that discipline and get him up to level or 4 or 5 before changing his training, that should get his overall score up a bit quicker and get him earning you more money.
If I was starting another game now I wouldnt expand as fast as I did, the key to getting more money is having highly trained drivers not more and more garages filled with poorly trained drivers, concentrate on what you have now, expand your garage to 5 drivers and train them up before buying another garage, when you do you can send 1 or 2 of your top guys over to get it going.
