Euromillions

I could think of loads of things with the money (if I won that much), start up a new business for one (with direct employee ownership & equal share of the profits system) as my own little social experiment to see how well it performed when every single member of the company shared the profits (after a percentage is put away for investment/expansion) equally at the end of the financial year.

I'd have fair living wages across the board, it would be owned by me (so no shareholders), I'd take no wage & would ensure a fair wage ratio system - the big appeal to workers would be the company performance related bonus (no personal bonus system, as I'd want to encourage co-operation).

Ideally, it would expand & allow me to continue my social experiment & make waves in the business world.

I'd also start a local homeless charity by buying a large building to convert into apartments (managed with staff) to cycle people into 6 month housing schemes (with the intention of giving them a fixed address so they can apply for jobs) - obviously would only work on these who are capable of getting out of the situation but those would be the best ones to focus on with limited resources.

I forgot to put mine on again :(
Just as well wouldn't have won nowt :p Dunno what I would've been saying had my numbers actually come up tho lol

Definatley playing on Friday tho, its an sickeningly absurd amount of money to win.
A few charities would be getting a chunk, clear off any/all debts for family/friends, new cars for family, houses where needed, buy an island, make sure its got decent BB ;)

Then find some tax free way of saving the rest :P

So you say you 'Wouldn't have won nothing'..so you're saying you would have won?

Sucks to be you then.. :p

Got myself 2 tickets. I said to the Morrisons girl who served me that I would give her some if she has sold me the winning ticket. :D

There's something different about having a physical ticket and checking it but it's far more convenient buying online and doing other things that night and waking up in the morning to an email saying they have news about your ticket.

I find the latter more fun :p

Heh, just got a mail saying I have won another share of the Euromillions... probably another £7.50 or so. I have won something small in every draw for the last couple of weeks though!

Sooooo much money, enough for many lifes over and wouldn't know what to do with it all.

The scariest part would be that it could change some people for the worse around you, either they want the money that you have, they expect you now to pay for everything or if you help them all out they become somebody else, knowing you are always there to help them again.

Part of me would just want to get on the next plane and disappear and travel for a few years (in luxuary :p) and come back to live in modesty, buy some land somewhere outskirt of town and just continue to travel and take pictures.

ps Fast tiring of the idea on an Island - seems like a lot of maintenance and dangerous.

I would put £50m in a charitable trust (or whatever is the most tax efficient) and spend the rest of my life giving it away directly to people that really need it. That would be my job.

No idea about the rest of it.
