LOL Barca losing last night for the first time since last April. Watched the game and thought wow what a dire performance by Barca all round. God only knows why Pique decided to make that silly tackle to get himself sent off, stupid isnt the word id use.
Oh well means that Real can close the gap somewhat if they win tonight along with AM as well.

You've been pretty quiet this season in here
With Madrid being so useless and Barca 18 points ahead of them or whatever it is, my enthusiasm this year for La Liga has diminished. I've also not been able to watch as many of the games as I'd like this time round.

Ronaldo in the past 10 minutes has just been unplayable, brilliant build up play for Di Maria's goal, occupied the entire defence, had them twisting and turning and didn't even notice Di Maria arrive far post for a tap in, then two goals for himself within minutes.

Interesting to see the midfield and attack Madrid used tonight. The same as last season with no Modric or Essien in sight.

It's what they've played most of the season, they've both started under 10 games in the league half the CL games and then Modric has a few more sub appearances under his belt. Neither are what you'd consider first team, more often than not they've played the last seasons midfield/front lines.

Its quite interesting that Modric started the season pretty well, the first 4-5 games maybe that Real have dropped points in the league he hasn't started or hasn't played in at all, as far as I can see the Espanyol and Osasuna games in the past several weeks are the only two games he's started that they've lost.
They're picking on Modric because of the price of the transfer and how poor Real seem to be, but its basically every single player apart from Ronaldo has been worse than last season, with some being abysmal. both left backs were always poor, and have been even worse this year, Alonso's even less involved, Khedira actually might be the only other player maybe as good as he was last year. Ozil has been even more inconsistent, with a lot more games being completely anonymous, him and Di Maria only play well when others play well, completely incapable of taking the game to the opposition on their own, no fight, on strength.
