im on for Lewis to win. cos im a Mclaren fan. no other reason.

will be a dull race, for the drivers at least on f1 2011 its not half bad to drive around but still, its just a concrete wall.

However it will be interesting to see the development of the surrounding area, for the last couple of years they have been building, maybe for once the Spanish have actually finished what they started.

one of those weekends where i wouldnt mind having prior obligations...oh well, just have to have an afternoon nap during the race :D

They should just let them use DRS for all the lap in this one race, Should liven things up a little. :D

Other than that, Boring race will be Boring. Think I'll watch it on Sky+ so I can skip though.

If the weather is good here I'll watch highlights,if its a dull Sunday I'll watch live, but then I have got some exciting magnolia paint that should be drying about that time!

The only thing which might mix things up, is that its going to be 30c.. hopefully more so the engines and tyres are nice and hot :p

u want it hot so maybe button can get some heat in the tyres?
he sill gotta find balance :P maybe someone should buy win a wii with a balance board as a gift

Even though getting heat in the tyres isn't the issue, but you keep peddling that one :p

The tyres have stayed the same the whole season, the car has been developed and the set up changes each race weekend. You don't go from winning to the back without it being something fundamentally wrong with the car or set up he is using. The operating window to make the tyres work is very narrow, hence 7 different winners and the all teams not really knowing what is going on. I'm not saying its only the teams fault, he should have had it sorted by now by working with the engineers.

The 7 different winners has rarely been because of changing race pace. Some cars have suited certain tracks sure, but its been 90% down to a qualifying error, or a mistake in the race, bad pitstop, bad choice, car breaking down or hitting someone.

Maybe I've been watching some other season but RBR, Mclaren(excluding Button :p ) Ferrari have been fast all year, with Ferrari being a little iffy in the first few races outside of bad weather. Button has simply been slow , always slow, nothing but slow.

The only time(generally) Button wins its because everyone else has problems, if no one does he's miles off the front. Button says its not a fundamental car problem, the entire team says its not a car problem, Button has been blaming car problems till the last race when he finally admitted it's just him. He had an identical car to the guy who won, and in most races he has an identical or almost identical car to the guy who is faster. he's been roughly as far behind Hamilton in qualifying as he has in the past 2 seasons. 3/10th's is just a lot more places lost this season to any other season. Then starting in around 10th vs top 4 has always cost you being competitive for the win outside of freak circumstances.

Half a second last year was 1 or 2 places.

Half a second this year is 10 places.

That's pretty much the root cause of everything we have seen this year that people label as 'random'.
