when it comes to penalties, absolutely. That was unbelievably manufactured.

Still need a decision within xlaps or xmins they have all the data streams, there should never be investigated after the race.
 
The big question is, did Lewis' head rest never get fitted properly for the restart, or did it unclip?

Cost Lewis the current lead in the championship race.

Plus why did it take so long to issue that 10 sec stop go penalty to Vettel, considering that huge red flag interval? If it had been applied earlier, Vettel would have been behind more traffic and come out behind Lewis.

interesting but **** race, mainly because of the obviously manufactured penalty for Vet (and I don't mean he didn't deserve it) I mean the stewards kept it under investigation and reacted when they could keep them close together on the track. Absolutely crap stewarding on purpose and manufactured as bad as WWE

Really is such a lazy way to police the sport.

Who knows what sort of politics goes on upstairs though
 
Screw Hamilton and Vettel; Kids will be kids.

I am far more interested in Stroll. Difficult race for a rookie and to get it home in 3rd so close to 2nd place, fantastic. Really pleased for him. Felt rather tense those last 2 laps.

Bottas, awesome drive. His first lap mistake was unlucky IMO and he had a great drive.

Danny Ric, deserved win, but being the best of the rest it was inevitable.

Great race.
 
Vettel on the radio on the slow down lap still going on about the penalty.

"I don't get it why I was done 10 seconds, 10 seconds penalty. I cannot recall somebody got a 10 second penalty"
 
Think Stroll has undone a lot of the damage here, given the amount of experienced drivers messing up and crashing he drove a very mature race. Happy for him.
