The new cupra born vz looks great. Improvement over mine and that new AP550 motor sounds really nice boost to torque. Longer geared so will address the drop off after 55mph. 5.7 0-60 too
79kwh battery up to 170kW too. I’ve been impressed with the ID buzz charge speeds as it’s a really good ‘area under curve’charge curve

I knew I'd get home and there are a couple of charging points a couple of miles from the house as well if I was really stuck. I'd given it a proper 100% charge a couple of days earlier as well as I don't think it had ever been fully charged before I bought it as the indicated range was a bit low - after fully, fully charging it the indicated range increased a bit. I assume they work similar to the batteries I've got in my house and spend the last bit of charging balancing. It took a little while when it showed 100% to actually stop drawing power whilst the range went up a bit as well.2% battery as well.............. they have bigger cahoonas than i have that is for sure. As soon as i get under 10% i start to get twitchy. I am no expert but isnt the remaining charge in car batteries a bit of a guess, and depends on how well balanced the battery is?
2% is not a lot of margin for error.
Nice what kind of charging facilities and rates will you get in Germany , or tbd.
What's the budget?Looking at company cars... Wifey wants an SUV. Really likes the Ariya.
Toyota bz4x seems to come out quite well. As does Ioniq 5, Enyaq, maybe even EX30.
Any others I should put forward?

Cupra Born as they seem to still undercut other cars per month on our scheme.Looking at company cars... Wifey wants an SUV. Really likes the Ariya.

These seem to be coming in at around the £300/month mark so around that.![]()
Hard to look past it if it's the same price as the others.Model Y territory, which still seems to be class leader.
That seems a bargain, given the EQE300 is a £75k rrp carModel Y was the most expensive car on our scheme till xmas, it was around 450 for the long range, its half that now. EQE300 AMG is the current interesting choice, its around £300, its a saloon so no good for me, but its a cracking looking car imo.
