you had suggested overnight temperature was the issue increasing the range which he had thought unlikely/refuted ..
and not been aware/suggested a more likely explanation revealed in a few seconds study on the internet - pretty sure it has never been discussed on this thread either..
( to wit. in B&W leaving the charge available to the car to allow it to balance the cells, for a period beyond the required charge level)

Probably the sensor in the battery says it’s 10c rather than 0 so the computer works out more range.

MG owners need hobbies that's all I'll say. Wow

So for 6 months i have charged it as normal then on the MG site told it's recommended to do it every 3 to 6 months, it even says it in the manual.
I really can't see the problem doing it once in 6 months.
You want to explain why to go against MGs recommendations and why you know better?
Not having a dig, genuinely want to know because it's been a PITA doing it.
