Certainly a good lesson as you said, you now have more knowledge than you did this morning about your car and its behaviour. I'm never really in a hurry anywhere I go these days, but I know what you mean about not noticing your speed as much in an EV.
 
Should get our quote in tomorrow, had the site visit today. Sounds pretty straightforward, going to take it straight out of the meter box via a mini fuse box. Cable will tuck under the lip of the wall of the house, just getting it behind the front hedge will be slightly fiddly. Hypervolt, black, 7.5m will be what we go for :)

Going to be great to have it and not have to plug in as much.

Speeds above 70 really seem to hammer range aswell. On a long run I’ll stick to 65 and yes you really lose hardly any time at all.
