Volvo ex40 (or xc40 recharge depending on model year) if you like Volvo. My old volvo seems to have recently started to get things breaking a lot more frequently and though it still does what we need it to do just a bit too much of a risk using it all the time with dog and baby in tow.
Time for a second car for daily usage and we can save the volvo for big trips that should hopefully reduce the rate at which things break. Specs are:
At least as big as a Niro inside, that is the bare minimum.
EV only, will be buying through my business.
No sportback/saloon stuff so tesla is out because the boots are too low for the dog.
Budget 20-25k.
Things I've looked at online based largely on discussion here what seem to be decent picks:
Ioniq 5 in premium or ultimate flavour
E tron 55 s line fat back
Niro 4
Anything else I should consider or be aware of as someone not really dipping into this forum very often? Just lookin for a shortlist and any 'gotcha's like the kia having the theft and therefore insurance issue at the moment.
Tiny boot, certainly not dog friendly if a Tesla Model Y is no good.polestar 2? has a hatch boot too
The XC40/EX40 above is the same platform as the polestar 2 though and would be able to better fit.
