If you are so confident in your contributions in this thread, post some evidence to backup your claims.
There has also been massive recalls of LG and Samsung cells in the not too distant past also, why aren't you bellyaching about those also? Ah yes, they are not Chinese.
A recall doesn't mean there is a widespread issue of cars self combusting on driveways.
As I said 7000 fires a year. I’m not at all that confident in electric cars, I’m actually very cautious of them.

just done my first longish drive in my 2023 facelift SRSM Polestar 2 and very very happy, drove from Newcastle to RAF Leeming and back (122miles total) and got 4 miles per KWh sitting at 70 the whole way. I really should have gone EV sooner.
Ccp has subsidised manufacturers and that will end, manufacturers will have to stand on their own two feet, no cull needed as the strong will survive and the weaker will fall by the wayside.
And how many ice car fires are year?
Like I said before, 35,000 in the uk alone per year.
Are you cautious of driving ice cars?
Writing 7000 fires per year is not evidence.
I can write petrol cars cause 548,934,512 fires per year but that doesn't make it true.
