are you using any advanced network features? from my cursory playing around with my router, the hypervolt does not like any advanced features like odmfa etc, literally has to be a basic wifi network (combined 2.4ghz/5ghz and beamforming seems to be okay)

And only wifi, which is why I chose it as the mobile signal isn't very strong in our area.
I was using the guest network of my router but do you mean ofdma?
I can't find this within the Orbi RBE 771 settings, it is wifi 7 though.
The connection drops are very random as it seems to be stable today.

ofdma is part of wifi 6/7 my router has an option to turn it off
apparently according to google the orbi has ofdma permanently enabled

might be worth hooking up an ethernet port from the router to the hypervolt and see if it works properly

Yes many things are permanently enabled in this router, something I found out after purchase.

In addition to my EV charger question, anyone here drive a Sealion 7? How's the real world usage? I'll be doing around 80 miles a day 4 days a week, probably 70-80% dual carriage-way/motorway speeds (although with traffic may not be much more than 50mph on average!).

Seems around 2.5-2.8 miles per kWh seems realistic?

I don't know the Sealion 7 well but that seems fairly poor for summer, I'd expect that for winter efficiency. My ID Buzz does 2.6 m/kWh in summer and it's not exactly svelte so would be surprised if yours would be that low
 
Well I was on FUSE's EV tariff for a while and that was nice after a bit of a horrendous process getting onto it (took 4-5 attempts), and I appreciated it automated the overnight eco charging via my Podpoint charger, but unfortunately they've just discontinued it.

Can anyone recommend any other EV tariffs so I can compare with the option FUSE intends to switch me to?

Hm, maybe you're right, that might be worst case. Used Claude to trawl reviews and generate a table of results based on 6.99p/kWh from EDF, and to be fair the difference isn't massive from worst case to best case so maybe not even worth worrying about.
