Stopping to charge will possibly be a pita too, unless you travel out of hours and can just take up a ton of bays.

Very long downhills might limit regen.

Not sure I'd be the first to recommend an EV to someone with a caravan, they would need to be dedicated to the cause! At least you can charge at your destination.

That’s the main attraction to tesla at the moment, when we need to charge it’s a lot less hassle with loads of very reliable chargers at a reasonable price as well as access to the ever increasing (less reliable, very expensive) public charging network.

Even the ‘M6 issue’ should be resolved (for now) with a Tesla big expansion going in at Tebay right now.

To be honest, I wouldn’t either but we’ve been fully electric for some time and don’t really want to go back for our one and only car. Realistically we are not going to be traveling hundreds of miles for shorter weekend trips and if we are going away for a week(s) then it’s less of an issue.

I haven't said what car I'm ordering, and I can tell you already, "loads" of people don't have it. In fact, I haven't seen one other on the road yet.

No, but I do ensure I tell everyone about the viscosity of oil, because I'm super fun at parties.

If you've any sense of reading comprehension, you'll pick up on the satire in my posts. I can't wait, yet at the same time, I couldn't care less. It's electric, it's got all the soul of a wet cloth, and about as useful as the 'g' in Lasagna. But it will do me, and secretly, I think it's kind of cool.

Had a look at an MG5 last weekend just out of curiosity. That's got to be the most useless boot on an estate ever.

The load lip is huge and the boot is tiny.
