21% of those surveyed had used vehicles though, so the sal sac percentage is probably nearer half of new purchases.
I'm all for data but that sample size is too small for the scale of the questions. Also the "granular" analysis of people's charging... A sample of 80 over a two week period. There is granular and there is pointlessly miniscule. In fact that part of the survey covered just 8 journeys of over 100 miles
I wonder how much the DfT wasted on that?

With the two of us looking into new jobs, BEVs have been looked at for a possible newish car for a 30ish mile round trip each day. For some reason I've taken a fancy into the iX3, saw a nice 22 plate in M Sport Pro. Does anyone have any personal experiences with one? It's very very early stages. No real requirements of the car either, no kids, etc.

Sure the old iX3 isn’t exactly a looker but I drive a Tesla Model Y so it’s hard for me to take an outright stand on looks alone
In fairness the old iX3 is not completely offensive, the iX on the other hand takes it to another level. The new iX3 is much better

Lets be honest most cars on the market today, outside of sports or super cars, are a bit meh looking. The only pretty EV is the Etron GT or the R5, the rest are an acquired taste, for eg, i think the ionic 5 is cracking looking car, but many think its a minger. Im keen to see the 3 series replacement though, i think the BMW design language isnt terrible, kind of, sorta etc etc
Admittedly I went Polestar 2, but always liked the Ioniq 5 - reminds me of a Delta Integrale a tiny bit (not sure this is a good reference point re aging well mind)
I think it still looks good, but I reckon I'm a lot older than you!
I think it looked better IRL, and when we had one for a week it was great. I don't think a car like that ages as its looks stands out so much in the first place, it's not an SUV blob it actually is a bit different.
