We only really make 2 EV's and they aren't great ones (Leaf and Mini)
I think the only EV batteries made here are for the Leaf.
Not had an email yet but someone's posted one they've received on Reddit regarding the variable IOG prices from April.
Looks like we've basically been bumped up to just under the new customer prices then had the 3.5p removed.
Edit: or not as it looks like new customer prices have gone up again, so not quite as bad.

new ev C class saloon end of April, apparently, will be interesting against I4 ...
maybe a sweet spot in saloon/estate sizing, it's got to be bigger than CLA, more like ID7 hopefully, with adult rear legroom.
these are all under the luxury car tax now which makes them much cheaper to run .. 2nd hand older ones must have taken a hit which would still have ~£400 tax supplement.
As announced at Budget 2025, this measure increases the VED (Vehicle Excise Duty) Expensive Car Supplement (ECS) threshold for zero-emission cars, from its current level of £40,000 to £50,000.
This means that zero-emission cars with a list price which exceeds £40,000, but does not exceed £50,000, will no longer be required to pay the ECS charge when they take out a licence which comes into effect on or after 1 April 2026 which is not a first vehicle licence. The threshold will be maintained at its current level of £40,000 for all other cars.
The change applies retrospectively, meaning that most vehicles registered from 1 April 2025 will not be required to pay the charge.

Do think there could be some truth in that; my step-dad wasn't keen at all on the idea of getting an EV when I visted them over Xmas, yet this past weekend he and my mum ordered a new R4.
I've been looking at the Smart #5 recently. I am seriously considering one especially the Brabus. It seems to do everything I need and the cost difference between the Premium and Brabus is not that much more and you get the extra performance and styling.

I have my pulse in the garage being fixed. Not a manufacturing problem... I broke something lol. But, they gave me the Brabus for my courtesy car. Same one I test drove haha. It's amazing. But I do love my Pulse still.
How are you finding it so far? Did you purchase? I was hoping for an end of quarter deal but there's hardly any stock.
Love it! Yeah I ordered back in Nov and took delivery start of March on the new reg.
I'd wait 6 months and save about £15k off the list price.
Then I would be without a car for 6 months.
