As others have hinted at, V2H will not power your house in a powercut. At best you can use V2L on an extension lead through a window.
For this to take place you need an automatic or manual change over switch to physically isolate you from the grid.
As @200sols said, get a proper solar and battery setup which will do that job.
.Here what I said to someone else I know, same applies if you change your car semi-regularly.
For once in your life just spend less on the car you are going to have for next next XYZ period of time, buy something considerably cheaper and spend the difference on a good solar and battery setup with a gateway/off-grid mode. Invest in your home.
Yeah, I was replying to the other person. Besides you have V2L.For sure, it's in the works but now isn't the right time for me.

Charging an EV via a 3 pin at 2kW - You need an EV rated plug or you will burn your house down. Also drop the charge rate to 8 Amps or even lower.
Pulling 1.8kW from an EV - Just daisy chain extension leads.

I can definitely see the sense in solar+battery, and if I wasn't the age that I am, or had someone that I wanted to leave my house to, I would definitely go that route. However for me, in my circumstance, it would be an investment that I would be unlikely to see a return on.Here what I said to someone else I know, same applies if you change your car semi-regularly.

!Might have missed it, what i4 did you go for in the end and what packs?Spoke to Hyundai finance, told me to ignore the dealership and the rejection is being processed so nothing to worry about
All arranged to collect the i4 this weekend.
He either massively over paid or can't do maths. My friend has 15 panels and a two battery setup and he does save a fortune in electric bills but he is looking at around 15-20 years to break even. It is also not very reliable having both inverters, 3 panels (One cracked by cleaning company)and a battery replaced luckily all under warranty. If all that happens when out of warranty I doubt he will ever break even.

If it’s not paying back in 6-9 years, you’re doing it wrong.Probably both tbh.
Probably got the system from the con artisans or heatableHe either massively over paid or can't do maths.
