Evaluate this website if you wish !

Many lol's in the this thread.
But honestly, that site is an abomination.

It's one thing not having an 'eye' for design, but it's quite another being incredibly incompetent at everything else to do with web development, the developer should be ashamed of this mess.

This reflects badly on the owner of the site, he cannot possibly be happy with this - and it's a live site too! Crikey.
 
Hahahahahaha, this is one of the worst websites I have seen in a long while, and I did a web design unit at college, in a class full of people who couldn't give a ****. :D
 
I did not expect clicking on the pictures on the home page to be equivalent to clicking on the tabs above them.

I also didn't expect mouseover text to read "garden pot contaoining plants pic".

I suspect "All designs and images" is being used to claim pictures from Google, but have no yet confirmed.
 
The thing with Wordpress is there's very little building involved. Just changing variables is generally enough to get a nice site. Need much more there's a good chance a plugin will cover it.

I love wordpress but I think its an insult to web developers when people sell generic wordpress templates as sites they've built at almost the same cost.

I'm sorry for 'web developers' but that's what happens in IT. Stuff gets automated. If you're in IT now and not a programmer then prepare for a rude awakening at some point.
 
Why the random link in the contacts page....? I have to say I've enjoyed this thread immensely, makes me feel better about my own poor web design skills!

Edit: Just noticed that if you click anything then the home button you can really see how out of alignment the "nav" bar is in each page!

I feel sorry for the poor ******* whose business this is if hes paid him for it. Christ design wise i could come up with something better and i know nothing about web design.

If someone made that for my business I would be highly offended. Also whoever bought that domain needs shooting too...
 
Someone who knows nothing about web design or code could spend a couple of weeks learning HTML/CSS and produce something just as good, if not better.
