Ever won anything of value?

Oh yeah, actually got one more. About 3 years ago, I went to some talk being given by the old black sabbath drummer (at least I think that's who it was) with my brother who has been a drummer for the best part of 7 years. I've never drummed in my life.

There was a raffle there aswell and I had no idea what the prizes were. I bought 5 tickets as did my brother and I ended up winning first prize which turned out to be a snare drum worth about £250 at the time :p no idea what make or model.

I gave it to my brother cos I'm nice like that. Although I did threaten to sell it on ebay to annoy him first :p
 
Through PH I won a pair of tickets to the August Brands BSB round with corporate hospitality from Nissan :D

Other than that I haven't really "won" anything of any significant value (to me / monetary value, though possibly more to others)
 
actually won something else, years ago, used to spend a half hour most days entering competitions online etc, and won expenses paid 6 day trip to San francisco with tour round Alcatraz.. took a mate and had great fun.
 
My best is £100 on a raffle when I was 17.

Apart from that, I got 4 numbers on the lotto a few months back - a measly £16 prize!! Hardly worth it..
 
Put £20 on a roulette table a few yrs ago for a laugh...started winning and ended up with £150 in my pocket before i decided to call it a day...lady luck was definitely on my side that night...sadly the next night i went into the casino i lost £50:p.

Other than that ive won around £20 on a scratchcard a few times but nothing bigger than that.

I found the £10 I was given in premium bonds when I was born...was quite excited as I thought I must have won atleast something...sadly after 24 years it was still worth £10!!
 
I won £2000 on a charity lottery which was nice, had an agreement to split any lottery wins with my parent 50/50 so I only got 1k but it was still a nice suprise :D
 
At my last job, we went to a Suppliers show day and there was a 37" Plasma screen (when Plasmas were NEW and EXCITING! this was pre-lcd TV popularity) as a prize. Put my card in the box, as did everyone else.

On the way home got a call to say "Your card was taken out". Woohoo I thought could do with a new TV, as a 19 year old living at home with the rents, a lot better than the 13" Goodmans! Que the boss - "That will look good in out hire stock" Me - ":O"

Often wonder if his card or the bosses mates was pulled out would it have been "Hire Stock"??
