I'm a golf fan and after playing the Jap version last year I would say it's a more complete golf game than Tiger Woods. Sure you have cute characters but the core gameplay especially with the advanced swing is better than TW.

Also it get's more challenging the further you get into the game.

recieved a "promo copy - not for resale" at work, and its installing now, i think its the full game as its taking quite a while to install....if it is, WOO!! heh. cant wait to get on this one. i was very suprised sony or the distributor of sony goods are still sending me stuff.

i've got this ordered, but out of interest based on the comments about it being cartoony etc... do you reckon its a good laugh in the way that wii sports golf is good? or more that its a good simulation-esque game that happens to be a bit cartoony?

not making much sense am i? i'm basically saying that i think games like the golf games on the wii are fun for a while but the novelty wares off, where as genuinely quality games like the old tiger woods and the like have mucho longevity... which is this game?
 
don't worry about it being cartoonish because thats just how its always been with the series, it doesn't take itself serious in that department and infact is a excellent game of golf which easily on Par (pun) with the realism of Tiger Woods.
 
Well, after a short internal debate, I actually got my PS3 on Friday and I got this game with it. I'm very impressed - been looking for some tips, though, as I'm terrible at it!

Best bit of advice I can give is always play with the advanced shots... I find it easier than traditional.

I'm really gald someone said the demo is set t easy cuz i've finised the demo on minus 4 a few times! (2 birdies and an eagle)...

could i ask summat, what method does everyone use to see where the ball is going to land and hanse adjust the shot, do you just manually change the camera angla?
