Everybody's Golf (PS3)

There also a shot time limit in multiplayer which is very tight, it caught us out in our games a couple of times, if you don't finish the hole in the limit you get booted out of game.

Yeah I found that out by accident when trying to apply backspin too early :p
 
Using advanced swing push one of the d-pad directions after the first click for power and keep it held till you hit the ball. I assume it's the same for normal swing, I just haven't used that.

Hi there, i might add you lot to my friends list to play this against if thats ok.

I had a breif look on the network play last night to see what its like and thought it was funy, i was just running and hopping about like the rest of the players. lol

I think the game is a little too easy as i have came first in every challange so far (all offline :) ) So online might give me a more challanging time.

To add spin hold the D pad in the dirrection you want after the swing has started. For the mega spins add the opposite direction on the d pad on the swing and then as you tap the 'hit ball' button as it swings down hit the other direction on the d pad at the same time, if you hit a perfect shot it adds super spin.
 
i prefer this to tiger woods , its just got a bit more fun to it , on one of my shots i hit a long range strike it went to the green , hit the flag and droped straight in the hole, amazing :)
 
Mmm tempted with this game. Theres to many games out now to play , lost planet, army of two , GT5 and flippin GTA coming soon. Not enough hours in the day :p
 
Think I might get this as I liked Everybodys golf on the PSP, whats the online play like can you see other peoples shots or do you all just play alone and have a leaderboard? Also do you have to wait for other people to play?

It's like you are all playing on one hole at once (yesterday 3 of us were on). You see "ghosts" of the other people playing overlayed on your screen. It is quite cool actually, Just a bit distracting I found when all of you are on the green. (I just wait till the others finish and then take my shot). If you finish the hole then you watch the leaderboard and you see the other players completing the hole in the background.

In the online sections, DON'T pick FAST as the game speed, I misunderstood what this meant and it gives you a very short time to complete the hole (as Baxtor, I and Tauren found out yesterday!!).

Surprisingly a lot of fun online, although he lack of voice chat is annoying so I would plug in a USB keyboard tbh.

I will be keeping my copy, it's better than last years Tiger Woods game imo (If you ignore the cutesy graphics I think it has just as much depth, but obviously no official tournaments, courses branding etc).
