Everything wrong with RTX 50 series launch [complete list]

If you want path tracing you’ll need to look at a 5090.
5090 has stupid power demands and high fire risk - enough reasons why I won't get one even if the price dropped to reasonable levels. Also I guess that for path-tracing@120fps (which really is preferred fps for Doom games) one will need something like 6080 Ti or maybe 6090. So for best experience I will still need to wait for next gen GPUs. But in the meanwhile I expect 5080 should get to 60ish fps on DLSS performance with most demanding areas dipping maybe to 50 worst case 40. But based on Indiana Jones performance I expect it to be sort of playable (even though far from optimal) even on 5080. I suspect for higher difficulty runs I will have to turn off PT and play on higher FPS instead.

@appletree , a suggestion. List is great (thank you), but if you could group it (e.g., by theme or severity), and add a bolded tag line for each, it would be easier to read
Thanks for the suggestion. I am contemplating grouping the items but that would mean changing the order which I would prefer to avoid since some points have already been referred in the tread under their original ordering. Here is my attempt at workaround - I added quick overview list with color coded severity of the item. It looks quite colorful like a Christmas tree - not a very eye-candy design I am afraid :D. Let me know if it improves things or still something better needs to be done. I might do your original suggestion if that's what people prefer over the quick overview list.
