EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3/SC2 iCX Preorder 3.28.2017

I was tempted but my previous experience with the Dire asus support and the fact its now over £80 more expensive i will wait.

I had great support with my GSYNC ASUS monitor a few years ago and I feel confident in the ASUS GPU support as OCUK have a special fast track support agreement with them where OCUK do the GPU support. OCUK FTW in my mind.

I have not experienced it since OCUK added the service but direct for the GPU was abysmal.

Very strange as i only buy Asus motherboards and support has always been superb with those. Do not understand why different business units have such massive differences in support.

Asus has a fast track 48hr service with OcUK now for the 3yr warranty period, you deal with us, not Asus! :)

Also EVGA SC2 is in stock.

Had an email on my ftw3 pre order today that says:

unfortunately we can't ship your card on the 1st (email dated 3rd lol!!). Estimated shipping date is now 10th may...

Bugger! I can wait tho!

same as all the other after market 1080TI cards then.....

Actually no, that memory overclock is terrible, they either had no clue what they were doing or there is some kind of issue with the memory as 100MHz over stock is poor. Were seeing closer to 12,000Mhz than 11,000Mhz in the cards we have tested so that makes no sense unless different brands are using different memory.

Good spot that man! They most likely didnt push it as that is very poor as an over clock, i have +500 on mine.

Mmm, nice...

The fan noise level of the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 ran about 28dB using the normal fan curve and we couldn’t detect any noise inside the MasterCase 5. When we cranked the fans up to 100% for OCing we got 36dBA both totally acceptable noise levels. During normal gameplay, we couldn’t hear the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 at all inside the chassis.

No reviews on Youtube, yet. :/
