Evil Genius

In true old school gaming spirit I went out and got me a copy of this (missed it the first time round), and now I am hooked on more than just RCT2. This consumed me till around 2 am which is far to late when you are up at 6.

So far I like it, the doors are a bit clumsy being that they have to be 2 squares wide but after I got over that, and a few restarts to get the feel, this is looking really playable.

Nice one for the heads up on this skippi.

Good tip before you move, save up at least 1mil gold, and then gradually demolish all your base. Leave the barracks, strongroom and power plant till last. You'll probably get at least another 1mil from it.

NP :p

Just got the option to move to the 2nd Island last night but saved and quit to play today as it was nearing 3am. :D

awww i rememer those times, you just dont want to put it down

very good tip i did it on my second run through

Any good tips for keeping people out on the 2nd Island?

I got annoyed when they started tunnelling in on the 1st. Super Agents weren't so bad. I just captured them. Had a few mercenaries in the area when the first game and sent in a Henchman to help out. Have found my Evil Genius tending to wander about the base now which I'm not happy about. Wish the baldy ****** would stay in his room. :p

Currently earching for the 1st piece of the totem pole. I have the other 3.

I've been playing Dungeon keeper 2 recently, really fun game, managed to complete it again. It actually works fine under Windows 7 x64 with the correct setup, even better than it does under XP.

If you like these games, Startopia is another one to try, it's along the same lines as these type of games and is fun to play.

this game brings back memories - must have been what 4 or 5 years ago when I played it, I spent way too much time on it, don't quite understand why there hasn't been a sequel yet.

Still loving this, just wrapping up the first island, my base design is fantastic, will post a pic of it on here hopefully tomorrw. First super agent just showed up, she's being a pain. Keep swapping her between a cell and torture but it's annoying.

EA probably bought out the devs ala dungeon keeper and decided they dont want a sequel work on some sims expansion instead.

they seem to have bought out a lot of dev houses that had some epic games then suddenly that franchise is nuked into oblivion

how did you get it to work? has some weiord black gfx coruption for me (win 7x54)

oh good, yet another reason for me to dislike EA!

rebellion bought the rights to evil genius when the original developers of the game closed its doors but looking at there releases it seems they are only doing psp games now

i dont know why no similar games exist these days though :( i guess everyone is to busy with there racing games and fps clones
