Anything is possible when you use crude induction. I think this is now the most powerful 2.0 ever made...yet (?)

Don't think so because it's modified from the factory, I think it has to be the base car like the A45 AMG for it to count?

how do they achieve such good torque figures at low rpm given the displacement of the engine? turbo choice? cam timing etc.

Really nice turbo on the evos yeah. Twin scroll, bb, fancy light wheels. Mivec will widen the torque band too.

Yup, it sure does.

There is definitely something different about an Evo over all other performance cars I've owned/driven and is probably one of the cheapest to mod to get to the 'magic' 400/400 mark. I hope the new owners enjoy their 440 as there won't be another Evo like that made again :/
