Explain to me why Kasabian aren't the worst band..

But if you were to ask a 6 year old if Bob The Builder is terrible, they would probably say "no". The song is not aimed at anyone over that age so we will all see it as childish. Also, even if everybody agreed that it is terrible, that does not make it a fact, just a very popular opinion that has not been refuted. As an analogy, the concept that you will drown if you stay underwater for too long doesn't suddenly stop being a fact just because some idiot doesn't think it is true.

And I don't see how Kasabian can be compared to obvious novelty acts like BTB or Cheeky Girls.

Good debut but the 2nd album is a bit hit and miss with a few decent songs.

As a live band though they are great if you are into them, especially at festivals where most people want no-nonsense good, live, jump around, lads, lager drinking music.

Seen them twice now, once at TITP and once at New Year, Edinburgh (w/Noel G), and have to say they were fantastic both times.
 
Great band imo.First album is awesome...second one is a grower.

Kaiser Chiefs
Wolfmother
Kings of Leon (first two albums)

Let's not confuse not the best in the world with worst in the world.

I don't like Razorlight or The Killers etc etc (the list is endless) but can plainly see that they aren't the worst bands in the world.

Actually one on Guitar/vocals, one on Bass/Keyboard and the other on drums but that's just being picky.

You want a pretentious over the top three piece, look no further than Muse

Razorlight really are the worst band in the world; the fact that Borrell thinks he's all that makes it all the more comical.

Whilst i've never been a big Killers fan, their second album, Born To Run, had some pretty catchy songs.

I didn't like their second album at first. It takes a lot of listens to really get into it. But that isn't how much should work at all, really. :p
