Exploding CD's

I have a friend who's computer once had a CD in it that ejected its self and the cd popped out and rolled down the hallway

I had this happen to me which usefully destroyed a slot DVD drive when they were pretty new and cost >£150. I was not amused.

I am still rockin a Globalwin 802.

happened to me with two creative 52x drives within a month, terrible drives!

also, happened a lot with those Kenwood 72x drives

It happened to me with my copy of morrowind, boom and it was in pieces.
