Passive resistance vs violence


No one cares if the police bludgeon/gas a bunch of violent blokes throwing things

Everyone would lose their **** if the police harmed nice older greying ladies who are just going limp and taking 4 officers to carry off.

As usual the thuggish protesters are beaten by their own idiocy/lack of impulse control.

After all we aren't seeing this at any XR protest are we?





XR are smart enough to exercise self control and unified enough to follow a peaceful plan

Many of the anti lockdown protest have been non violent all people are doing is standing in the road same as XR yet they get moved off the road yet XR can stand around for hours.

I watch a lot of the protests and they have been told to get off the roads around parliament due to the obstructing highways act by Police yet no disperse order dosnt come until 6pm for XR.

They seem to be able to erect whatever they like aswell, I give them there due though XR know how to protest.

I remember when I worked for a council and XR marched down the street into our reception, there were a few police officers there to guard the staff entrance but they were just sat on the floor making a lot of noise and left a while later without incident.

The difference is being arrested is an XR tactics a published tactic.


They WANT to be arrested.

They won't kick off or start a fight They will calmly go limp require 4+ officers to cart them off (vs one or 2 in arm locks for violent types) they will then very happily sit in a cell taking up space


It's been their MO from the start fillthe cells and occupy the police till they can't function



They're all non violent and there's cameras so the police won't randomly start hitting them, the police don't want to arrested them as it occupies so much staff time it's easier to wait forrhem to leave.


Vs the other protests where the people are violent and not a cohesive movment with a plan the tactics have to be different.



Tldr: your ascribing to race what is down to intelligent tactics

Meh, XR are just a bunch or spoilt middle class morons who have never suffered any real consequences for their actions hence why they keep coming back. Once jury's and judges start handing down taking them seriously XR will soon discover that having recorded criminal convictions on their records isn't compatible with holding down a serious career.

They just got cleared by a jury.

I think you'll find in their circles having an areas for an XR protest is not a hinderence at all

They should give them community service and make them clean it all up.

If I saw one glued to a road I'd run over their arms and not lose any sleep over it.

I wonder how you'd feel if you couldn't afford to pay your rent because they effectively stopped you doing business, but I'm sure all it needs is a few dorks who've never had a job shutting down central London for China, India and the US to stop burning fossil fuel. The reason the climate is warming is because human beings exist and need to burn fuel for energy because we're basically just a few hundred years out of living in stone castles, we're in our technological infancy and if we didn't burn fuel then a lot of us would starve or freeze.

Their cause is front and centre in World politics there is no lack of opportunity to air views on this subject it is a mainstream political shibboleth. No credible politician isn't drinking their cool aid. Yet actual harm is being done to blameless individuals so these narcisssists can perform their political play. The establishment largely approves of their mesaage and methods hence the buggers don't even feel the consequences of the harm they cause others.
