After spa and monza back to back I managed no points finishes.

The lotus engine just doesn't have the grunt. Singapore next and I've qualified pole.

What level do you have the AI at out of interest?

I'm set at Professional (one below the top?) and best I've managed so far is 3rd at Catalunya in the Force India :p

I'm using Lotus and very much struggling to keep up with the pace, find that outbraking the AI usually works.
 
Finally got round to buying this game in the end, arrived on Wednesday so not had a massive amount of time to play it. Done a few stand-alone grand prix (as Schumacher started 9th finished 5th) using the pad and certainly takes a bit of getting used to but doable.

Online racing, as has been mentioned, is a bit mental and doesn't take much to go from high-mid pack to last :(. Really enjoying it though, and the only lag i have noticed (PS3 user here) is in the pitlane, which, to be honest, doesn't bother me really.

Just starting in career mode in the Lotus so not much to report on that front, but as my first F1 game to actually own since GP4 on the PC, I am impressed :)

same.

managed a win in the lotus. think it was germany. had a couple of 4ths and a second.

yup, its very easy to out brake them.

most track im top 6-7 but on the tracks with long straights like monza and spa i 2 second off the pace.

Do you use automatic or manual gearchange? I found that if you can master gearchanging on a pad it helps a lot when trying to keep up with the faster cars, though you can bugger it up sometimes.
 
Pole to flag win at Singapore. 3 seconds a lap faster than button in 2nd. Did an extra stop for a front wing and still won by 9 seconds.
 
I use automatic because I'm lazy! Have tried making 7th gear longer but I usually use the quick car setup depending on conditions so it changes back to default. Guess I just need to finish the season and sign for a better team!
 
is there an inbetween level between medium and legendary as I picked this up from blockbuster's and sat on pole with a 3 second lead first time out with lotus
