F1 2016

Did around 1.55 in wet and a 1.39 in dry in China. Whilst I cannot stand wet, I didn't think I could get in the 1.55's. So let's see how I go the rest of the week. :)

Nope, still trying to do it without TC. Honestly think it's auto gears hurting me most in the wet. Seems to be in a lower gear than I need most of the time

In the wet singapore l try not to go as low as 3rd if l do l change up straight away. You'll be surprised how quick the speed builds up plus a lot less wheel spin.

Present lap time 1:54 and still room for improvement with out TC.:)
 
I noticed there were only 160 people on the china wet leader board.

So I took this opportunity to set a lap so I can be in a top 200 list on this game. I did it.
 
Somewhere in the 1.56 region tonight after a few laps, can't imagine getting down to 1.50 :eek: That's pretty good going!

Would love to get involved with this but with my wedding coming up will be a good few weeks until I can get the steering wheel setup back in the office sadly :(

Some of those times though, think I'll be padding out the bottom of any timings when I eventually join lol :)
 
Seen in the patch notes they have altered cars performance based on 2016 results! Hope they haven't ruined my championship season by massively changing the car. I'm in a Haas
 
I've put in a respectable 1.36.099 for China dry. Plenty of time to find through the week :)

I love how pretty simple this track is to go faster. It's just a case of braking later, carry more speed, don't go wide. Haven't hit the limit of grip yet like I did with Singapore.

Infuriating and awesome at the same time. With no assists its just knife edge stuff the whole lap through.

P3 i managed to get 2nd fastest in the Renault on expert difficulty which i was quite proud of!

I just can't get over how some are getting in the 1.12's at the top of the leaderboard with no assists on time trial in Monaco though! That is 3 seconds faster than me and i literally don't know how i could go any faster. Insane. :eek:

Ooh I had better get my skates on and post a China laptop time, slacking. I'll try and have a go tonight.

Have had so little time past few weeks, kids, going out, and erm new missus haven't had much time for really getting into some gaming. But I have a few hours spare tonight, so I'll have a go.
 
I went faster in China on dry last night by over a second I believe. But in the wet, I could not get anywhere near what I posted earlier in the week. I was either going off the track or just being generally cautious around the corners. I tried different settings, hell, I even tried without TC and let's just say I won't be doing that again! Lol.

I will keep trying but I have a feeling I won't get faster in the wet. But in the dry, I should get a little bit faster. :)
