Stroll has been announced at RPFI. In a more surprising announcement it's also been confirmed that the sun will rise tomorrow.

It's really weird why they kept the announcement quiet for so long. He'd already been testing the car since Monday this week. I can only assume there was some contractual shenanigans going on.

With how slow they are to make announcements we'll probably find out the new team name some time around Monza.

I don't see how anyone could have known that was about to happen, it was such a well kept secret...

I suspect it had more to with the severance payoff from Williams than any issue with RPFI.
