D'OH! Almost making Ferrari's launch seem professional.

I suppose it wouldn't be a Virgin product if it was running on time.

Do you know which is the real Virgin Twitter account?

That update was on virginf1racing but theres lots of posts saying "For bona fide Virgin Racing updates follow @VirginRacing and unfollow @virginf1racing"

Looking forward to the Virgin Launch. A car built entirely in CFD and no previous cars, should be interesting to see what they have done.

Lets hope the CFD work was more reliable than the feed then. Judging by the website layout the colourscheme should be pretty good. In related news I drove past the current Lotus F1 "base" last night, all was quiet so no major issues hopefully. I did notice that they have changed the team logo on the front of the building. Gone is the Lotus badge and a "1" with colours in it and in its place is a lovely Green/Yellow stripe :D Hoping for some win.

Neither are verified...

Getting more from virginf1racing...

Due to technical hitch launch not live via website....
The VR-01 is the first of a new breed of race car designed entirely in the digital domain using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).

Virgin win race to be first new F1 team for the 2010 season to present a car!!! Hopefully this is not the only race we win this year!!

My response:

@virginf1racing Really? Presenting a car that no-one can see isn't that big a challenge. See, I'm doing it right now.

Lets see if Force India can do any better with their online launch next week. They don't have much to live up to looking at the Ferrari and Virgin events.
