Under the air intake? The crane hooks are on top.

Has anyone noticed that the exhausts on the Merc(brawn) are illegal? or am i missing a rule change?

They stick right out, when they are ment to be flush with the bodywork.

Apparently (one of my school friend's is a designer for Force India F1) a lot of the bodywork, engine cover and rear of the Merc is illegal at the moment during testing. They clearly have a few tricks they don't want anyone to see until they get to Bahrain!

They are illegal - just like they were on the Brawn for the first couple of races too iirc.

If they were illegal (rather than under investigation) - surely Brawn would have been banned /striken off the results for those races.....

on closer inspection, they were also sticking out in Australia last year so yeh, there must have been some argument going on. By China they had disappeared into the bodywork.

Weird.

Stefan GP - Portimao on Feb 25th.

Not bad considering they don't have an entry. Although a container of their kit is already on the way to Bahrain... Errr...

They are doing some really odd stuff for a team with no official entry...

Has someone dropped out, or are they just being VERY speculative? They have not even had mandatory crash testing done (by the FIA) yet?

I believe they are looking very seriously at Campos-Meta not being able to compete and taking their place.

If they can't get in this year they will spend a year testing and then push for a 2011 entry.

Will be interesting to see what the 2010 Toyota would have looked like.

Looking forward to the Virgin Launch. A car built entirely in CFD and no previous cars, should be interesting to see what they have done.
