i have had one mechanical fault so far mate, only used it for this season.
however mate, don get it for next year. by then ill have a more powerful more reliable and just as light engine as the mercy which i will sell you if you want it ? I would let you use it this year but you have to be in the sport for 4 years i think before you can buy in engines.
but got to say touch wood this year ive only had the one fault with the mercy engine.
PS could i have version 2 of the pit sop calculator as well pretty please
You wouldnt sell it to me this year anyway cause then you wouldn't have the edge but yeah, i'd appreciate that. im sure we can work something out at the time. I wont be going pro so wont be developing my own stuff.
Version 2 doesn't really add anything. I just made a bunch of new boxes that tell you exactly what laps to pit on depending on how many stops you're making, but i'll send it if you like.
ahh no bother then mate, ill carry on with the one i have.
i havent edge at the moment mate but hopefully ill have me new engine for next race these are the stats
900 bhp - 96kg - 18'525rpm and 74%
but ive still got 4 races to improve that for next year. taken a long time to develop it to this level though
and as for next year, we'll sort something out it costs me to supply you with the engine but im not a greedy man when it comes to selling it to fellow ocukers.
to save money i'd try not to reduce the engine weight so much... its much cheaper to save weight on the chasis first. Im only in my 2nd season and my engine is 120% 120% 105kg and 65% reliability. I use go easy as I race, doesnt seem to lose much lap times and never had a failure yet, (also helps with my drivers not crashing on go easy now lol) I'll be selling some Engines soon CAPSLOCK RACING !!!!!!!!!!!!!
What impact does reliability on tyres actually have ? I dont see the point in michigan tyres really. Dunno whether change to streetstone as my driver is good onj tyres and they offer most grip. Just curious about reliability on tyres as its not like I see blowouts or anything. This in private league.
the first 3 will be my drivers next year. 4th one is a new find... i should train her up right? Despite her not having great in tyres etc. and just dump her if i find better?
its only my 2nd season in this game and the first 2 **** drivers were my #1. I was 1st and 2nd in the league for the last 6 races and got promoted from league 78 to 35... I joined a club half way through and realised Talent was the one attribute that wont increase ^_^.
Also i thought... that 3* in talent was the max, since at the time the best i could find on the drivers market was 3* and the Column width auto formats to the largest available attribute making it look like 3* was max LOL
oh yeah i realised those wouldnt change. hence i got 1/2star drivers with good tyres and box stats but yeah... failed and now im looking the best drivers about are 2-3stars now So ill prob hire that young one and turn her to my main for now while looking about.
i didnt think the driver mattered too much, but it does massively i have a 2 star for talent and a 1.5 star. there other stats are good, however i keep getting beat my dampcats number 1 driver who in comparison has awesome stats.
as im running a more powerful engine (same ish chassis and tyres) the only thing it could be imho is driver ability and mine simply dont cut it against his. We are both also doing the same pit stop strategy so it basically comes down to driver skill.
