Reverse grids for top 10 which are set at random races would be interesting and eliminate any 'interesting tactics' that teams try to make.

When you consistently spout a load of crap you can't expect people to read everything you post.

You mean your massively convoluted point structure which would serve only to confuse fans and alienate casual viewers?

Yes, sadly I did. The fact no one responded to it should have told you what you needed to know about it.

Wouldn't mind a reverse grid with points from qualifying actually.

Would mean it's worth qualifying best you can. And yours get something for being the best car even if you chew your tyres up in the race.

Everyone would certainly come out to qualify then!

see he gets it

But that would never happen, it'd just increase the gap between the top teams and the rest of the pack. Merc/Ferrari would qualify on the first 2 rows and start 6th-10th and, considering how much faster they are than everyone else, would be back in front within a few laps so they'd take the 15 qualifying points and 30 race points.

On tracks like Monaco where you can't overtake you'd have people competing for 10th spot in qualifying because they can get 30 points from a race win and only 15 from pole.

regarding your first point, you say that like nothing can go wrong look at the Spa GP, they would have been caught in the middle of something like that,
secondly regarding tracks like Monaco yh that may be true but some will go for the 15 points knowing they ain't going to win the race anyway...
