Feels like these newer circuits are built on the cheap, don’t recall this many problems with longstanding ones.
Quite, don't where the FIA come into it though as someone else posted. They have rules and guides for the tracks but at the end of the day it is the circuit owners, clerk of the course and maintainers who are responsible. https://www.fia.com/circuit-safetyI think the problem is more that circuits like Bahrain are barely used. It hosts about two events a year and sits idle the rest of the time. Circuits like Silverstone are constantly getting checked and maintained because there are all sorts of different events run there across the year.

Still think it’s interesting in testing where they surely aren’t showing their true pace.On tyres a grade softer though.
