Nice to know but doesn't really mean much as Red Bull were very slow through the speed trap, but were still quickest around a full lap. The two two there were the same as last year generally?

red bull were slow in the speed traps last year to.

maybe williams , macca and ferrari beeing slow on a straight shows the cars are designed for high downforce at the expensive of drag on the straights like rbr were last year.

i hope merc arent a turd in the medium/high speed corners again

It doesn't mean much, but Red Bull weren't quickest around a lap i.e they didn't set the fastest testing time.

If they were going for a quali run like Williams and Force India, their speed trap reading would have been much higher.

MSC Technical DNF's
Monaco - Fire
Hungary Gearbox
aswell as 3 collisions (we can say these are his own fault so discount them even if some arent i cant be bothered to argue about them)

At least provide the full details will you.

Australia - Retired while 20th
Monaco - Retired while 14th
Hungary - Retired while 8th
Singapore - Retired while 9th
Korea - Retired while 12th

So its hardly like Schumacher was robbed of a load of points.

you think he was 20th before the collision? he had a puncture and had to pit..... which dropped him back...
In the middle of the pack, there was a collision between Michael Schumacher and Jaime Alguersuari as a result of which both drivers had to pit for repairs; Schumacher for a puncture and Alguersuari for a front wing. The rest of the field passed through the first lap safely.
would have finished atleast 8th in hungary.

in singapore he was catching rosberg by over a second a lap.
korea
Petrov and Alonso had been battling over track position on the straight, but both missed the braking zone, and Petrov rammed into the back of Schumacher,
alonso finished 6th and was behind schumacher at that point so he would probably have been atleast 7th.

rosberg had a very fortunate season where barely any dnfs or people like petrov ramming into the back of him and no one like senna giving him a puncture.
where as schumacher had a very unfortunate season with a lot of points missed from circumstances he had no control over.

anyway the point i was making in the first place wasnt that schumacher should have beat rosberg it was that he delivered pretty much what the car was capable off and would likely do a better job than webber did last season (the bloke who often finished 30-50 seconds behind vettel)

MSc probably would've done a better job than Webber, but then we are comparing MSc with Rosberg, not Webber.

It is quite possible that Rosberg is a better driver than Webber.

yea but the comparrison allows us to judge who got closer to what the car is capable of and that was the whole point.

msc would he beat vettel? possible not at his age but im damn sure he would do at the very least as good a job as webber managed..

so i dont know why its so lol worthy for some people like sparky

Nearly ****** myself seeing Bernie suggest Msc should get webbers seat.

maybe hes a former mclaren or williams employee though, get over it jock did :D

Like I mentioned in one of previous posts, Rosberg was able to keep out of danger the majority of the time because he was able to qualify pretty well considering the car he had, Michael, on the other hand, did not, apart from Monaco but unfortunately he ballsed up the start and got into trouble that way :p

maybe the airbox fire wouldnt have happened if he didnt anti stall at the start you mean?

why disrupt a team with what would be (most likely) all MSc's demands (including undoubtedly a much higher paypacket than Webber) when you are odds on favourite to collect both championships anyway

They dont need it on the track, they dont need MSc from a marketing perspective either - so its pretty lol worthy to even suggest it.......thats without even looking into whether MSc could drive the car at the front of the grid without resorting to dubious tactics (and any bad press that results)

cos vettel or webber never make any dubious tactics?
schumacher isnt in it for the money he had earnt over a billion from f1 many years ago. (have you seen his private jet?)
webber and vettel never made any dubious tactics? turkey lol?

vettel and msc have been really good friends since vettel was a small boy so i doubt there would be any fireworks between the two

realisticly its not likely to happen but i wouldnt say it was laughable
