I like it, looks cool :)

Jenson's Birthday on Saturday and I've gone and bought him this lol! Remote control, and an absolute bargain! £10 from Argos brand new in the sale!

He wanted a Racing car in Red so I'm probably gonna have a half McLaren half Tifsosi House now! :p :D

Sorry, don't see how the Halo would have prevented Senna's death  Ratzenburger was also due to massive deceleration rather than impact to the head.

The other's are maybe open to debate, but Senna was killed by a suspension arm piercing his helmet which would have been too small to be stopped surely?

Ratzenberger I agree, it would have made no difference.

The suspension arm came from inside the car.

No the suspension arm was attached to the wheel and hub/upright that all came away together. many incident reports even state that a couple of degrees difference in the angle of impact and the wheel would have headed in a different direction and we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

Also have to remember how much of the driver was visible in 1994 and the size of the monocoque. It's not the massively padded cocoon they're in now.

Hamilton is pushing Merc to go flat out. But they won't :(

How are they stopping him? Only fitting mediums and filling it up with fuel? :(

To be fair though, going out and setting a time 1 second faster than anyone at this point would probably get them a backlash of "no point in bothering to watch F1 this year" reception in social media. At least if they aren't fastest people can cling on to their testing hopes and dreams of a some sort of fight up front.

Are there any articles about exactly what the team can do to the car from the pit-lane and how much the driver would know?

It's one of the things that niggles me, especially after the end of the season last year. Did Lewis really switch off after winning the championship? Or did Mercedes influence some consolation wins for their German driver? It fills me with distrust that teams might be able to make changes that are imperceptible to the driver.
