Slightly OT - Anyone entered a fantasy formula 1 team on the autosport site? Entered mine today, cost a tenner but something to watch during the season :)

If anyone want's a chuckle there's a great article on Autosport.com, an interview with Ralf Schumacher...

Ralf's dellusional ramblings

Ralf one of the top three drivers in the world? Errm no. If he was he wouldn't give up half way through a race just because he's not doing all that well.

"The F1 title is just a matter of time"? $250million a year for the last 5 seasons and still only 7 podium finishes. I think we might be waiting a while Ralf.

I heard about that on the radio as I was coming home just now. Couldn't help but laugh.

He has finally lost it. The ITV poll agrees -

Do you regard Ralf Schumacher as one of the top three drivers in F1?
Yes
8.48 % (104)
No
91.52 % (1123)
Also there is a short clip of Bundle driving the Super Aguri - http://www.itv-f1.com/Video_player.aspx?id=31. Have ITV not noticed people have broadband now and can display video larger than a postage stamp? Or is it just small on mine?

Heads up

SUNDAY 11 MARCH

Sport
F1: Chasing the Dream
5:10pm - 6:10pm
ITV1 London

To mark the start of the 2007 Formula 1 Championship, we go behind the scenes at the Surrey base of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team. In the quest for their first world title in seven years, McLaren have lined up reigning world champion Fernando Alonso and the new British driving sensation Lewis Hamilton. Follow them as they make their final preparations for the new season, which begins on 18 March with the Australian Grand Prix.

UPDATED LISTING: This programme has been delayed by five minutes from the billed schedule.

Strange that there was no mention of Button despite the obvious a similarity between the start of his career and Hamilton's. This was nothing more than a McLaren promo video to be honest - the sort of thing I'd expect to find as a DVD with a magazine than on TV.

That was like a cheap little promo stunt. There seemed to be only about 20 mins of footage - mix in the ad breaks and them repeating most of the scenes it led to a rather boring hour.

So long as they dont have a McLaren bias in the race coverage then i'm not fussed.
Why would they? Because there is a British driver racing for them? What about Button and Coulthard. The ITV show has never really shown enough bias for me. The Eurosport MotoGP commentators are always biased, and if you ever hear Aussie commentary on any sport concerning an Aussie team.. its hilarious! More patriotism!

According to the Silverstone website, there is only 1 practice week this year? I was hoping to go to a few this year.

I just uploaded the video I took last year -
. Intense!

edit: correct url this time

Its nrealy here, cant wait for it.

Going to try and watch the Australlian race live, pretty much every year with races that are on at daft times :p

Come on Kimi. My favourite driver. Were a Kimi / McLaren fan last year but its got to be Kimi and Ferrari this one.

I dont quite understand your point. I like unbiased F1 coverage as i dont really have a fav team / driver. I just like a good race. Althought ITV obviously want to show more british items / coverage as that is thier audience.
