Completely agree. If you compare it to movies like Ford vs Ferrari or Rush where it was easier to make substantial improvement purely because of how simple cars were, it then doesn't detract from the story, whereas with modern cars we know how completely insane this movie was from a technical perspective.Couldn't help but think if they had made this with a different generation of cars or set it back when we had the v10 / v12 how awesome it would have sounded in Imax compared to the modern era cars (sound design was still good)
I thought their first lines were very wooden, but as they appeared again later, they'd loosened up.Did feel like Brundell / Crofty were reading off a script they'd been given without any prior notice or they reused their lines from the F1 games.
