FA CUP FINAL Chelsea v Liverpool *** Spoilers ***

Great banner. :D

I'll watch the game in the morning, but that banner is absolutely brilliant :D

I did and still to this day I haven't seen any proof that it crossed line, but that's not a problem as I'm not claiming it did.
Images that suggest it could've crossed the line?
If you've seen those fabled images why do you think it's inconclusive?

Because a mere 1mm could be touching the line, with no proper angle we can't see, but from other images using different points as reference you could see it is quite possible it crossed the line.

So you have no definite proof that either crossed the line, ok, that settles that.

Watch Drogba's goal and the last 30 minutes of Andy Carroll, other than that there was no quality or atmosphere.

Don't forget Suarez's articulate argument with the linesman over the goal, what amounted to, it sounded closer to, well, a roar than actual words, it was highly entertaining.

Then, Drogba felt himself up for a few minutes on the pitch, probably don't want to see that again. The comedy duo down the left wing. The overlapping run which ended up every single time with them getting too close, delaying the pass, slowing the overlap run ending up 5 yards away, the passing behind them and usually missing the 5 yard pass.

Did you go to the game, I presume not and you're judging by the sound levels through your televisions speakers?

You're evidently quite bitter about the result and the majority on here seem to agree that the ball was not fully over the line and the linesman has made the correct decision.

Best FA Cup win I can remember, beating my two most disliked teams to lift the cup :)

Ivanovic MOTM for me.

Yeah I am, and I've been to Wembley before and watched the game after, before 2-0 the sound was fairly dead.

A supposedly huge team thats struggling to finish 5th in the league

Ps Im still laughing at the possibility of Arsenal failing to see off Spurs and Newcastle for 3rd place

Tom was it you I had a heated discussion (in Dec /Jan) with that Chelsea and Arsenal could be out of the top four by the end of the season? :D

(If it wasnt you I appologise)

You're so right.
A huge team that have only won 1 major competition already this year and only have a chance (albeit remote) to win another one, the one which Man. U. were comprehensively dumped out of by the likes of FC Basel.
That's even after being relatively **** for the first 5 months of the season.
Hope your huge team manage to get something from this season other than another chance at the big prizes next year.

Rubbish result, Kenny got the tactics wrong yet again (Suarez is NOT a lone striker, no matter how many times he gets played there). Spearing and Downing are 2 playes I dont want to ever see in a Liverpool shirt again. A few others need to have a look at themselves in the close season as their attitude and application hasn't been up to scratch this campaign.

Quite a flat cup final though.

Was it a goal, yes. Still wouldnt want goal line tech though.

Dont think Kenny will be around after the last 2 games either.

A Chelsea fan on here that isn't me AND standing up for themselves

Games in Blue are Games played at Stamford Bridge.
Teams in Bold were not in the Premier League.

Had to go out mid way through the second half (just after Carroll scored, great goal by the way) but just watched the highlights and obviously the ball was more over than not for the goal that wasn't but given it has to be all of the ball the officials made the correct decision.
