FA Cup Semi Finals + other football *Spoilers*

Our keeper let us gooners down today, though he has played quite well in the previous match, today there was a hint of lack of experience or just very bad judgement.

Why oh why did he make such a run out of the box to try and tackle?! Was so painful to watch. should have stayed back and at least had a chance of making a save.

I wish Chelsea would get the hang of playing for the whole 90 mins.
1 down v Juventus and Liverpool twice in the CL and 1 down v Arsenal and Watford in the FA cup, it's as if they need a kick up the arse to get going, makes for great entertainment but it's not good for the ticker.
Can't really believe that we're in a FA cup final and the CL semis after the complete shambles we were under Scolari, Hiddink has certainly turned things around, it's a shame he won't be staying.:(

Come on Everton;)

Didn't see the match as was at a wedding but it sounds like Flapianski didn't have a great game.... the trouble is with him, he can pull of good saves but gets done on crosses sometimes. In midweek (where he looked fairly assured) I also saw him rushing out to clear a few balls, they were very close calls which to his credit he got right, but he was very close to getting caught out of his area a couple of times. He reminds me a bit of David James at Liverpool.

Expecting something like this for United today:

Foster
Rafael
Evans
Ferdinand
Evra
Ronaldo
Fletcher
Anderson
Nani
Tevez
Berbatov

Although Neville, Park and Scholes may play as well

AS for Eboue, despite the comentator insisting Eboue was at fault for the goal, he was, between Malouda and the goal, what else can you do, people shoot, the shot isn't always blocked

i don't know how you can consistently defend Eboue, he was clearly at fault with Malouda's goal .....there's no excuse for that lapse in pressure in those areas of the pitch against top opposition, he was lazy and got burnt for it clear and simple. eboue is the biggest donkey in the squad with denilson a close second.

after all this progress we had shown in the last 4-6 weeks why did Wenger field Eboue/Denilson instead of Song and Arshavin in a FA Cup Semi???? for the life of me and most others i imagine i just can't fathom what Wenger is thinking sometimes.

Fabianski might have been the logical excuse for going out to a pretty average Chelsea team yesterday but the real villain is Wenger as far as i'm concerned - he is tactically useless as a manager and yet again he has been shown up.

Aye, in the past Wenger's had the squad and players to compensate for this, but not any more.

VDS
Rafael, Rio, Vidic, Evra
Ronaldo, Giggs, Fletcher, Tosic
Rooney, Welbeck

Id what id like to see. Experience mixed with some youth.
I'd also like to see Macheda play, and a few other youngsters as I find it more enjoyable to watch and more interesting.

However I highly doubt we will play much youth, as it is Everton, ohwell. We're going to need to soon with the amount of fixtures we still have left!

I'm just pleased it won't be the kid with balsa wood toes knocking us out.

Either way he wins, he gets to see the team he supports in the final or the one he plays for. I bet he's already got a ticket.

I'm gonna go for a 1-0 win for us.

Tommy 'The Doc' Docherty said:
Former Manchester United manager Tommy Docherty has slated Dimitar Berbatov and urged the club to dump the Bulgarian.

The Daily Star Sunday says Docherty, a pundit for BBC Manchester, said: “Berbatov has been an absolute disaster. If it was up to me, I’d have dumped him months ago.

“The guy could get injured on A Question of Sport! He’s so dour and doesn’t seem interested.

“He should look at Carlos Tevez and see the way he always grafts to win the ball back.

“I’m sure someone will want to buy him in the summer – and United would cut the hand off anybody who offers near £30m.”

Docherty claimed United’s new sensation, Italian teenager Federico Macheda, is better than Berba.

The Doc, Old Trafford boss from 1972-77, added: “The young lad is only 17 but looks to be ten times the player that Berbatov is!”
Hear Hear.
