FA Cup Semi Finals + other football *Spoilers*

Yeah who would have thought trying to win every trophy would have a tiring effect on the players. A team that despite having a game in hand in the Premiership has still played more games than any other team this season. Hmmm. But I guess being paid a lot of money equates to finding mysterious hidden pools of energy unknown to players outside of the world of Man Utd. Get a clue dude.

Players at Man Utd get 100k a week but are tired if they play more than 90 minutes in a week?

Very few Manchester United players are on "100k" a week.
You'll find the majority of the players are on a lot less.

None the less, does paying Ronaldo / Rooney 100k a week mean they should have more energy then other players ?

Manchester United have played a lot of games this season, more then most, they need to rotate their team.

Added to the poor pitch, Fergie wasn't taking chances with players getting injured or really tired, and pulling something as a result.

Everton were held for 90 minutes + extra time by a "weak" Manchester United side.

10 years? Until the injuries thats exactly how we ahve been playing the last 3 years under moyes. Single striker and hit him. I felt sorry for AJ and Beattie as neither where suited to that kind of football. I'm glads he seems to have stopped with that sort of formation.

I've seen pretty much every minute of every game since Moyes took over. To say we've played hoofball for the last 3 years is total rubbish.

Yakubu is lazy. I lost all respect for him when he bottled the uefa cup pens and came off right before the shootout. He misses far too many and I don't think it's any coincidence we struggled in the league and have played better since he became injured. For me he doesn't do enough.

He certainly is lazy, but as long as he's scoring 20 a season, I couldn't care less. I also take it you mean Yakubu bottled the Fiorentina shootout at Goodison and got subbed off? Funny that, I clearly remember him taking a penalty (which hit the post).

Fellaini praise? I haven't seen any. I've seen plenty of stuff about him struggling and plenty of mocking on just how shocking he has been for most of the season. As I said he's only recently turned a corner but he still aint great or worth the money paid.

Other than the two MOTD episodes in which they've highlighted what a dirty player he is for using the elbow (although I don't remember Shearer, Kevin Davies, Rooney, even our very own Duncan Ferguson getting any 'elbow highlights' on national TV), I've seen/heard nothing but praise for the lad.

Peinaar gives the ball away far too much for my liking with sloppy passes. I would honestly rather have park.

I don't think one can be labelled as being significantly better than the other. Still, I think you're being harsh on Pienaar. I remember two United players getting booked yesterday for scything him down after he'd skinned them. That said, it's fair enough. Each to their own.

Ferguson just pretty much through the match away putting out that squad, he should have played a good team for half the game or really just have them as a sub on the bench at least. I’d be so ****ed off if I was one of the people who went to that game and spent a couple of hundred for tickets and costs to get there to see that squad.

Yeah your right I'm thinking of Johnson.

I'm not saying they played the long ball, I'm saying they played one forward upfront and kept trying to hit him all the time. We even did it when we just had AJ playing upfront. We did it with beattie and then didn't give him anyone to play off him.

I'm glad he's now atleast trying to play two forwards, injuries permitting. My worry is once Jo goes back and we have Yak again with just anichebe and vaughan we go back to one upfront.
