FA Cup Semi Finals + other football *Spoilers*

Glad I am going to work because that was **** compared to yesterdays game.

Wish it was Liverpool playing and not Everton

Wellbeck doesn't even seemed interested and already has a chip on his shoulder

Well I was wrong about Gibson, he's been superb so far, possibly the best player on the pitch, Welbeck however is even worse than I expected (and my thoughts before the match is that he's not a footballer).

He is ****ing rubbish. Lazy, slow, weak, ****. I actually hate him. HATE.
Never thought I'd say this but ****ing get Nani on.

Obviously not as serious as the CL, you think there was any chance of Wellbeck and Gibson playing against Porto? I'm not saying he doesn't care about going out and he obviously thinks this team is capable of winning. Its just clear its not his priority.

Gibson and Welbeck both played against Spurs in the Carling cup final. It's not disrespectful, it's called putting a team out to save other players for more important matches. It's the least important match we have left, so why risk the really important players?

Did atpbx forget to log off? :p

He is one of the most one-footed players i've seen for a long time, his left peg is dreadful.

Just back from the Spurs vs. Newcastle game.

It saddens me to say this but I think Newcastle are going to go down. Their fans were superb today and they really don't deserve it.

Shearer is a Championship Manager manager. He played three different formations today and none of them works. Playing wing-backs against the likes of Lennon is a terrible decision and so is playing Martins, Owen and Viduka all at once. Bassong looked like a quality player though and I reckon Newcaslte would have lost 3-0 without him on the pitch.

I know! I don't think its being disrespectful, I agree with that.

We only have one left back in our entire squad and he's injured. I'm not saying Shearer didn't make mistakes because he did but there wasn't many other options for the LB position.

edit- playing Martins, Owen and Viduka all at once is our best team, you must have a short memory because that's the same strikeforce that helped us beat you 4-1 last season.

Saving your best players is all fine and dandy but there's very few games bigger than an FA cup semi, every team should be putting it's best side out this stage of the comp. Try to win the game 1st then take off your big guns to rest them or at least have them on the bench if needed.

Were down like, we really needed something from the game, it was always going to be hard with the two teams on opposite form and our injuries but i had hoped for a point with Spurs maybe taking it easy...one more nail in the coffin...sad sad times for us lot, but the way we've been ran over the past 5 years or so its very much deserved.

We have a game every 3/4 days for the rest of the season. Somethings gotta give somewhere.

Besides, Rafael and Fabio will be first choice before soon. Macheda obviously looks like a good prospect and this is probably the only game he could possibly start for the rest of the season. The only ones you can argue with are Welbeck and Gibson really.

That Possebon is v good too.

I can't see Newcastle getting anything from Liverpool or Villa away, and don't think they're going to win all of their 3 home games against Pompey, Boro and Fulham.

Seems Newcastle are going down.

I'm enjoying see Manus kids playing, always like watching Arsenals as well, feel Manu have some good options in the youth team. Welbeck needs a lot of work, but has pace and moohasive legs and will be a handful in the future.

Wanted more from Macheda, still 45 for him to do something.

The two Brazilian brothers are half decent as well.
