First off well done to Everton making it to the final

Utd's performance wasnt that bad defence looked solid, midfield looked ok but as has already been said, i could not see where the goals were going to come from think Fergies mistake was mechada/berbatov, should have started Berbatov then brought on Macheda later in the game.

Could be worse i passed up a ticket for the game on Friday i could still be sat on the coach waiting to get out of that rubbish wembley car park

Mr. 30 million however, did **** me off. Berbatov should be blindfolded and shot, then given hospital treatment, then shot again.

When I saw the lineup, I was pretty sceptical. I expected changes, but not that many.

However they played out of their skins really. Even Berbatov I didn't think was bad at all, although the penalty miss was shocking.

I have to say, it was pretty shameful watching that though. Everton had packed up and gone home for penalties by the middle of the second half. But who could blame them - we could have played that until next week and they wouldn't have scored.

I expect that i'll get called bitter by the smug Liverpool fans who (shockingly) have come out of the woodwork. Well i'm fed up with teams who just stifle play and hope to luck it out in the end, which they did.

We fully deserved to go through for just putting in 120 minutes of work, as opposed to 60. Chelsea would have won the cup no matter who they played, but I expect better from a team placed 5th in the League.

As a Liverpool fan I've got to say I'm made up for Everton, and I genuinely hope they go on to win it. Truly.

As for United, I'm just glad Everton took it all the way to penalties

Everton had packed up and gone home for penalties by the middle of the second half. But who could blame them - we could have played that until next week and they wouldn't have scored.

To be fair your lot never looked like scoring either. The difference is you had two forwards on the pitch worth a combined £50-60 million. For that money you can buy the whole everton squad. Our total number of forwards was saha until we bought on vaughan who was a youth player and one whose had more injuries than saha.

We have been a little bit stuck as Jo is cup tied. So the side needs to be constantly re-shuffled.

Vidic and Ferdinand should look good against the attacking threat we had in the game.

It's not tough to test them. Slinging balls into the box isn't going to cut it really. It just gets headed clear. Once your dominant spell was over at the start of the second half, it just looked like the Everton midfield ran out of ideas and resigned themselves to the dreaded shootout. It's been shown before that the United defence is breakable, if you can be bothered to make the effort.

Evertone played the full game in all of those fixtures. I didn't see them give up - hell against Liverpool (who apparantly are better than us ) you managed to out-last them!

Alex Ferguson's hopping mad shenanigans on the TV sent me into howls of laughter. Cannot stand the bloke so this made my year.

If something as small as that "makes your year" you must have a pretty uneventful life. Berbatov's penalty was bad; however he did EXACTLY the same thing in the carling cup final last year against Chelsea and sent Cech the wrong way. He's going to be made the scapegoat, lazy this languid that, However when he was substituted in the champions league mid week he had covered more ground than Evra I think it was who was subbed before him.

Penalty's are a complete lottery, and I'm sure the United fans who are getting on his case would love him and say he's the best thing since sliced bread if he was to score a winner in the champions league final. He played well when he came on, held onto the ball well and brought players into attack, it's a shame nothing materialised because over the 120 minutes, bar the second half of extra time United were in control of the game.

I don't know why that penalty was never awarded for the foul by Jagielka but it happens and you just have to accept it. I'm very proud of the young lads who came out and gave absolutely everything, I'm sure most of them didn't even expect to be on the bench. The young players have a very bright future ahead of them, congrats to Everton and good luck for the final, they’re a very admirable squad considering what David Moyes has done with a limited budget. Some of you people are completely clueless though, especially the comments about Tevez.

Once saha was knackered we had no forwards and had to throw on a kid who doesn't yet have a natural position and a striker whose played about 3 games this season.

It takes even the mighty rooney weeks to get match fit after an injury, yet somehow vaughan was supposed to have an engine to keep up with and trouble Vidic and ferdinand after one reserve match?

Thats why we ran out of steam. Peinarse even got the ball and had nowhere to go with it.

Our whole team is playing out of position through injuries. Our best hope was a set piece.

You question why our bare bones squad is running out of steam and why we couldn't bring it to you when your own first team's legs have died. We don't have the luxuary of being able to play a second team, we barely have a first.
