FA Cup **Spoilers**

Liverpool probably aren't too bothered about this anyway (the substitutions show that) they have to get in to the CL so their main focus now is 4th in the PL or winning the EL.
A good FA cup run would've been great for the success starved fans and added a few coppers to the funds (although attendances are generally poor in the Cup all round) but not being in the CL next year will hurt, lots :)

Absolutely everything is going against Liverpool this season, seems to be similar to how I felt as an Arsenal fan over the last 2 years, I sympathise (not this season though, Arsenal's luck has changed)

Tbh going out this early will prob suit Liverpool in the grand scheme of things this season. They now have (at least) an extra weekend off compared to their rivals in the league, which is very important considering we've now had a few games postponed.

What a cross goal and was that Insua ridiculously easily passed? lol.

21st in the Championship, Liverpool starting with their strongest team...... opps.

When on earth is Benitez going to realise their defensive system at set pieces and those situations is terrible?

You should want... no have a need to win every game you play. Doesn't matter if it's the FA Cup or the CL, no matter who the opposition is, you play your best to win.

Yes, but if we go out here the fans are going to give Rafa hell; whether he wants this or not, the fans certainly do, and can make his life pretty uncomfortable if we get knocked out by an average Championship side (no offense to Reading, who have been fantastic for the whole tie).

The subs were supposedly for two injuries, if they didn't care about this, and only the league this isn't the team that would have started most likely. Think Benitez realises he needs a cup of any type to save his job after guarenteeing a top 4 spot he can't get.

JohnnyG the issue is he was FORCED into taking Gerrard and Torres off not a case of keeping them fit he really cant risk any time off from either.

Its still almost a full strength squad out there other than them 2 so its not as if he is holding out they just cant do it.
