The ignorance and misplaced resentment towards Wenger by some in this country is staggering and sometimes it gets on top of you ..

He basically revolutionised major parts of the league (health, performance, fitness and diet of players, he's definitely had a part to play in the success of the PL today) yet the hate directed to him is just embarrassing. If he were English he'd be treated like a god

I hate to see missiles thrown onto the pitch but with what Bellamy got away with over the two legs, I don't have any sympathy for him whatsoever.

Was quite shocked to see a half full bottle of beer/cider thrown at him, from a decent height that could have killed him, only missed him by a foot or two. Idiots

I have a feeling that our title tilt will finish in Feb..im hoping against all odds that we beat Man Utd on Sunday and also Chelski but it seems like whenever we play them we go to pieces.

But if we can beat Man Utd and Chelski then i think we have a very good chance of still being in the title hunt...what we didnt need was a draw against Villa:(.
 
As long as Arsenal dont lose both games, they wil still be in the hunt (and you are certainly capable of winning both)

It will be interesting to see what team Utd put out and whether they can keep their level as high as last night (2nd half especially) - I have a horrible feeling they will be drained (mentally more than anything) after last night

I quite like the fact that he is a poor loser. Most winners have that mentality.

If he was happy or accepting of defeats I would be a little worried.

On playing the long ball against Arsenal. I would do the same thing. With Campbell at the back and the pace they had upfront then why wouldnt you?

We always struggle when teams play over us and close down quickly.

Our team are young (not as strong), short and like to play along the floor. So teams that are tall and strong play long balls which plays against our strengths.
 
When did Nani become a semi-respectable player? Still would never play him above Valencia, but he looked pretty handy.

about every 10th game :D (and I concur about Valencia, however I think after his game on Sat against Hull he deserved a last hurrah in the CC, and he was ok...ish)
 
Seen bits of Nani from the last few games and his crossing has certainly improved shedloads

Oh, and just for DM. Song leads the tackle success rate in the league. I've been waiting for some kind of stat to back up just how good he's been. Now never talk badly of him again when he deserves praise.

Indeed.. and thats the thing, it shows the mentality of the people who threw the objects. Theres a lot of people that I think are dicks but I dont pick up a bottle or coin and throw it at their head. I put that down to a little aspect of maturity called self-control. I can only assume that these people are lacking self-control and/or maturity.

Some of the people who turn up to football games are the scum of the earth.

Who pays £50 to sit there shouting and abusing people for 90 minutes? Disgusting behaviour. What happened to enjoying the game and taking it all in. They'd rather be absolute *****. Selfish.
