FA Cup weekend and midweek Prem Games up to the 27th **SPOILERS**

After the City game, I'd almost have quite liked Rio to play against us, only to get red carded for losing his rag during it. He's quite the angry young lad at the moment.

Was quite shocked to see a half full bottle of beer/cider thrown at him, from a decent height that could have killed him, only missed him by a foot or two. Idiots

Slightly over dramatic, they're plastic bottles, and it'd be impossible to throw them from high up, they can only have come from a few rows back.

But yes, disgusting, and the bloke who threw the coin was rightly arrested.

Plastic bottles?

Not from the picture on the back of The Sun they weren't. Glass Magners cider bottles.

EDIT: My bad. Didn't realise there was such a thing as plastic Magners bottles.

Eboue and Song have touched down in London, both apparently a bit tired but available for Sunday. Song will be a much needed addition I think, either to replace Denilson who once again showed he was crap or Sol.

With Diaby returning as well, not sure who I'd like replacing in all honesty atm.

I think Diaby will come back and song and eboue subs. Lets hope Diaby has a good game and doesnt drift back into inconsistancy

Bendtner's cameo last night pretty much summed him up - shortly after coming on, he did some great linkup play (twice in the same move). He's a good link player who can keep a move going, and I'm not just talking about the traditional 'knock downs' you see from centreforwards, he can cope with the ball into feet and he is good at laying the ball off quickly.

Then later on, he looked inept in front of goal and wasted a good chance.

It's annoying, him and Walcott could be so much more effective with the right training I reckon.

Yeah Bendtner's link up play shortly before his injury was becoming really, really good, and then last night he had 3 or 4 really good touches and out muscled Dunne etc.

I agree though he needs to work a little on his finishing, but then again I've seen him smash some screamers in, I would say it's maybe a bit of nervousness in front of goal but the last thing Bendtner suffers from is lack of confidence :p

Amazingly good news that Song might play on Sunday and Vermz might not be out long term. Things aren't quite as bad as they could have been :D

Is Diaby available for Man Utd? He played awesome at OT, he plays well in these types of games imo, hope he can step in next to Song and Fab

What's this nonsense about Ferdinand maybe appealing against his ban again, what a joke.
He smashed the guy in the face and got a 3 game ban for violent conduct. That's what can happen if you do that.

He then appeals against it (in spite of video evidence) simply to delay the start of the ban so he can play in the cup semi-final. I think even MU fans must surely know what's going on there.

He then gets an additional ban for a frivolous appeal, which is as it should be, a deterrent to dissuade people from abusing the appeals system to delay the start of bans.

If he appeals again, I'd say **** you, you can have a 5 match ban for wasting our time again.

It does seem very stupid if they do put in another appeal, he deserved the ban for being an ******** in the first place. I don't see what else they can add to the appeal that wasn't brought forward in the original appeal. If he does and gets another match or two, then he'll miss the Carling Cup final which won't be good.

Jesus, idiot, I think the Bolton player thought his team mate was going to take over there, and got away from the ball, if he hadn't, probably a certain goal, well covered behind by the big man, but Pool should have been 1-0 down there. As far as I can tell, thats 1 shot on target by Bolton, none from Liverpool so far.
