Facebook apps! Arrghgh!

For christ sake...it's just a few clicks to get rid of the invites and they dry up very quickly. Just ignore them. Facebook is a very useful tool/website and i use it everyday to keep in touch with people.

What is with people today, everyone is so moody...

Grr Facebook used to be good. I haven't been on it for a month.
 
Very annoying, I was thinking about looking into making an app blocker.

I understand why facebook allowed apps, but personally they should give more user options to control them. A limit would also be awesome, say your page is only allowed to have 5 apps installed at a time.
 
Opening Facebook up to non academic addresses was the beginning of it's end. It's rapidly becoming a victim of it's success.
 
Someone had written on my funwall, which I hadn't installed so I thought I would see what it was like. Bad idea doing it at work as loads of NSFW images appeared :( and goodbye to funwall.

The only apps I have are, superpoke, where I've been, visual bookshelf. That's all apart from the standard ones.

interestingly enough, a mate of mine who had a look at the development kit says that 90% of the apps out there are just slight tweaks of the example app, released by people who want to look uber.
 
The only app I have is "Where have I been" map thing.

All the others just p me off, the endless alerts and pointless notifications.

very true....... you just need 2 buttons "block all apps" & "do not show apps on friends profiles"

I was going to make an application that automatically blocked and deleted application requests/notifications, but you don't get very good access to users' notifications from the facebook api - I requested it on the wiki, but it's gone nowhere so far :(
