It's 100% killed MSN for me, texting too, besides a few friends
Agreed.
I no longer use MSN or Skype at home now as there is no point.
I used to get lots and lots of jokes by text, now you are lucky if you get one a week.

This pretty much, same old posts just come form the same people.
"I'm amazing look at me, today I cured cancer and climbed Mt Everest before runnign10 marathons in a row and winning a Nobel prize before breakfast"
"I'm such an unlucky person, my life is worthless, woe is me, but I am not looking for pity or attention, honest".
"Here is my baby", 3 mins later "my baby + cat", "2 mins later "baby + dad", 5 mins later "baby asleep"
"Watching the game, go unknown football/basketball/american fotoball team team"
"Cure for Cancer/Aids"
"Life changing quote here", "This heroic child survived cancer and ran a marathon, what do you do with your worthless life"
"We are all destroying the planet, recycle your bum-fluff to make clothes for starving Africans".
"My dog asleep in-front of TV"
"The wicked-witch is dead, even although i wasn't even conceived back then and have no idea of her policies I know I must hate her"
Don't forget the "LIKE IN 3 SECONDS IF YOUR NAME BEGINS WITH S!" followed by 33,056 comments by people called Sean, Sarah, Simon..
I find my news feed is filled with 90% drivel, mostly mum's talking about how much they adore their children or 'funny' pictures/videos which are really getting old.
I keep it for events but I don't share photos anymore and I have uninstalled the (terrible) mobile ad infested app.
I find myself using Twitter and YouTube more these days
facebook = bunch of fat housewives either boasting about something or whining about something.
No thanks.
Deleted account and feel good that I do not know what people are eating for breakfast etc.
You do realise you can unfriend them, of if you have a need for them to be on your Facebook, hide their feed.
I rarely see/read what people post in there feeds. I follow companys/products and use It for organising and post photos.
People are idiots. They blame their failure to use a product as they would like as a failure of the product itself.

I hear what you're saying and I have blocked people and changed settings etc but what's left isn't really worth the bother. I still use Facebook for certain things but no where near as much as I did. I don't put that down to it declining as such but perhaps now I'm a bit older it isn't quite as interesting in my social circle, now that most people I know have settled down.
What it comes down to is I would much rather spend my 10 minutes of lunch time surfing time watching vsauce on YouTube![]()
To brand someone an idiot for choosing not to use Facebook is ridiculous![]()
To brand someone an idiot for choosing not to use Facebook is ridiculousNo one has criticised Facebook as a product. Hell it's a genius thing to have invented.
It's fairly obvious you can block people or unfriend them. I personally would rather just avoid Facebook and its annoyances altogether! To block/unfriend one of your friends on there kind of avoids the point of being on there. When I deactivated my account I realised how much unnecessary time I spent on there.
To organise events you can always pick up the phone/text/email.
For companies/products there is LinkedIn.
